If STIX has been turned off, e.g. because of an issue on the satellite, we need create a PDOR to turn it back on. Previously used PDORs are available in the IOR Manager on the STIX website. To create one from scratch, see How to Write a PDOR.

These wait time must be adhered to or the execution of the sequennces could be interrupted. Extra things can be done as part of the PDOR, e.g. changing onboard parameters. But this is the minimal list.

  • AIXF011. Wait time: 30 mins (Turns STIX on and puts it into Safe mode)
  • AIXF032A. Wait time: 1 minute (Switches from safe to nominal mode)
  • AIXF400A. Wait time: a few seconds (Enables calibration accumulation)
